Games
As much as I try, I'm not a gamer. Even so, I have a few games I've gotten myself to play for a few hours.
StarCraft - of course!
Uplink - learn how to hack on Introversion's first game, first released in 2000. Also, all of the folks in the Social Security system are male!
Tom, darn you for passively introducing me to Dwarf Fortress.
It's like the Sims, but stuff actually happens. Kinda. Bard's description is "half RTS, half city-builder, and half RPG, IT'S THREE-HALVES OF A GAME."
The learning curve is intense, but it's kinda quick if you have the patience and a tileset. Though ASCII art is really hardcore-looking.
